Today, we'll pay a visit for Tiananmen Square, which is the largest public square in the world. Then visit today's highlight: the Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. In its 500 years of history, there were 24 emperors living here. Experiencing several times renovation and expansion during the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Forbidden City is still remaining its original layout.
At last we will visit the Temple of Heaven, which was used to pray for harvest by the emperors. It's China's existing largest structure for sacrifice to heaven. This Chinese monument is built entirely in wood, without using a single nail, which has become the symbol of Beijing. For the Chinese the ground is sacred, so the emperor used to celebrate the main rites here.

The first highlight of your trip is to visit the symbol of China - the Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall, which section is more popular among foreign visitors, with many observation towers that can be reached by cable car, from where you can sit back and enjoy the great scenery.
Then drive to Summer Palace, which is China existing largest and best preserved imperial garden. Before leaving for Shanghai, take a photo stop at the Olympic grounds, which is popularly known for the "Bird's Nest"due to its extraordinary architectural appearance. Transfer to airport for a flight to Shanghai.

Explore the Old City of Shanghai, where you can get an idea of what the city looked like hundreds of years ago.
